B-day Invites!

Birthday Invitations!

My Son is turning 2 this week and I wanted a fun way to invite the family over. So I created these invitations. They are a lot of fun. It’s just a little different than your standard card, with time, date and place.

The card consists of 2 parts, the envelope card holder, and the tag card. I made a pocket for the tag, by adhering the front part with 2 paw print brads, along with ribbon for decoration.

The backing for the tag is animal theme. I tied that into the holder by adding a small strip of the same pattern paper to the base of the envelope

Finally, I attached the tag to the back base paper with a brad and a flower for a little extra touch. It was a great way to add color into the tag.

I wanted a fun way to invite people to the party. So I came up with this poem. It tells the date time and place and also lets everyone know that we are having cake and ice cream and that it is a “zoo “theme,

I hope you enjoy this, and have fun adapting the idea to your own needs.

Cards, invites, etc, and feel free to use different themes and of course have fun with color.

Finished size 4 x 5 ¼

Dutch Oven Recipe Book

Chipboard Flower Album

More ways to Use Paper

I made this for my Mother in Law; She needed a Gift for a family member During a time of hardship, as there was a Death in the Family. I used my Cricut to cut the Vinyl.
This was a fun idea to go in my 3 year olds' room. I thought it would be a good place to have him put his goals and give him nice note and thoughts.
This is a fun idea to use as an Album or just make one as a Card and an Envelope
Here's a different view of the same ablum. This shows how you can pull each card out and put saying, money, tickets, or even home made coupons
We have a "Page Club" at our local scrapbook store. This is what they did this month. The page didn't feel as if it "flowed" to me. So i changed it up a bit. This is what i came up with

Scrapbooker of the Year Contest!

So I entered the “Scrapbooker of the Year Contest” and the results are in. They did a top five and “NO” I did not make it. Last year they did a top 10 and the year before. But that’s ok. The good part is, now that I didn’t win, I can post my Scrapbook pages up for you to see. So here they are, Enjoy!
